Where do I come up with this stuff?! A question I'm asked frequently. My usual response is to shake my head and laugh. But finally, yes, I have an answer. That is if we're discussing my latest cozy mystery series. It all started when my mother told me I'd find my grandmother on her closet shelf. Those were her exact words. The problem arose when I found she wasn't there. Where did she go? Who took her? Why? Did she really die of congestive heart failure? Was she really my grandmother at all? Perhaps something more nefarious had happened!
Because, well, this is how my mind works.
That, my friends, is how a cozy mystery is born.
The Luckland Ladies are characters created out of my memories. People in my life that hold that special place in my heart. From my oldest and dearest friends to my oldest and most eccentric relatives. Those little bits of inspiration that shape each character are priceless.
My hope is that readers everywhere (coming soon in Spanish) will find yourself, and your own posse, within these pages. Your wingperson. Your ride or die person. Your soulmate and your soul-rouser. Your inspiration through life.
